The PANAmbassador Program
Advocating for narrators, connecting with authors
PANAmbassadors advocate for excellent human narration through face-to-face education, networking, and personal connections with authors.
In response to the continued growth of our industry, and the expanded role of audiobook narrators as producers, directors, and business partners, PANA is also expanding ways for narrators to connect directly with our author collaborators.
By attending author events — and leading panels, Q&As, and workshops — PANAmbassadors share best practices about everything audio. From getting started, to casting, production, marketing, and DEI initiatives, PANAmbassadors educate authors about the creation of world-class audiobooks.
Become a PANAmbassador
PANA continues to develop a database of author events in many locations. PANA members can not only apply to attend an event as a PANAmbassador, but also add an already-scheduled event to the database.
Leading the discussion is one of the best ways to communicate best practices. PANA will reimburse a portion of the registration or application fee for any PANAmbassador leading a panel or discussion. PANA will also provide swag and informational materials for a PANA table at the event and can even assist PANAmbassadors in choosing or developing programming that suits their interest and the theme of the event — with available topics like Audiobook Production A-Z, Dual and Duet Recording, or DEI in Audiobooks.
