PANAcon CODE OF CONDUCT
All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, staff members, service providers, and all others attending PANAcon are expected to abide by this PANA Code of Conduct. As an association, PANA is strongly committed to diversity, equity, and the free expression of ideas. PANA has zero-tolerance for any form of Unacceptable Behavior.
Unacceptable Behavior is defined as:
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
- Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, PANA staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
- Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
- Disruption of the event. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any PANA virtual event staff.
- Any discussion, postings, profile images and messages should not contain promotional materials or solicitation for services.
- Participants should not take screenshots or videos of participants without their consent.
- Marketing of Products or Services by members is not permitted.
- PANA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the conference without warning in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and PANA reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person if a violation of the Code of Conduct is found.
