Anti-Discrimination Policy
The Professional Audiobook Narrators Association (PANA) was started by narrators to provide peer support, professional education, personal and industry connections, and advocacy for human audiobook narrators.
PANA is committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and welcoming space for all audiobook narrators at every level in their careers. In view of this, all members of PANA are asked to remember that harassment or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, neuro-diversity, age, or genetic information (including family medical history) is illegal and against PANA policy.
Thank you for:
- being considerate of your colleagues’ opinions
- being mindful of how language or actions could cause others to feel uncomfortable
- being open to discussions regarding that can constitute demeaning, discriminatory, harassing, or threatening speech or behavior
- bringing issues of harassment (and beyond) to the executive director and/or board chairs
- familiarizing yourself with PANA’s grievance policy
