Board of Directors
Ever since I was a small child I knew I wanted to be an actor. My friends and I made up sketches and dances we made our parents sit through; my brother and I would record ourselves on our audiocassette recorder. I did all the plays I could in our small New Hampshire town, dreaming of performing in a theatre with real theatrical lights, a set that wasn’t a living room, and a curtain that moved. There was no other path for me but a theatre degree. I wanted to soak in everything I could, so I went for a BA over a BFA so I could work in lighting, sound, stage management, and performance of all kinds. College was idyllic, and I got some fantastic roles, met amazing people (including my incredible spouse) and then graduated and went on to be an early childhood educator… It’s amazing what fear can do. Flash forward plenty of years and I discovered audiobook narration, where I could act in my pajamas, be all the characters, and tell wonderful stories. And as a bonus I found a welcoming community of talented and generous colleagues. Besides narrating I also produce for Pink Flamingo Productions.
